Finding out more on 21st August!
There was an informal event to enable prospective students to find out more about TONIC Creative Business Project courses at the New Art Centre Gallery, 272 High Street, Chatham, ME4 4BP on Thursday, 21st August, 2008, 4pm until 6pm.
TONIC Creative Business Project offers free courses on business and creative subjects. The courses will be delivered in the evenings, or at weekends and successful completion will lead to credits towards a BA or MBA.
The first course, Event Design, was over-subscribed and is running successfully, so do sign up for the course you want to do, soon.

TONIC's Folkestone launch
The Folkestone modules of the Creative Business Project were launched at Christ Church University's campus in Folkestone, on Tuesday 16th September. Courses in Enterprise & Innovation and Project Management were unveiled at the University Centre, Mill Bay, Folkestone and all those interested in taking the courses can now contact TONIC to register their interst.
Dragons' Den at UCA
Rachel Lowe, who appeared on the first edition of Dragons' Den, gave a presentation to business people and creatives at a breakfast promoted by TONIC at the University of the Creative Arts in Rochester on 3rd September. Former taxi driver Rachel was famously turned down by the Dragons, but bounced back to launch her taxi-driving board game, 'Destination'. Many editions later, the profits from sales amount to more than £2m, a tribute to the benefits of creativity and perseverance.

Creative Event Design, the first TONIC course, begins on Monday 21st July at the Galvanising Shop, Chatham Historic Dockyard. It runs for twelve weeks on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. A few places remain. To book your free place on the course:

The launch of Tonic: Creative Business Project
On 1st July from 6-8pm on HMS Gannet at Chatham Historic Dockyard.
Tonic: Creative Business Project mixes creativity and business in a range of innovative courses offered in an accessible way.
For those working in the creative industries there are business courses that will help to manage, market and present ideas.
For those in business there are creative courses such as team building and problem solving delivered in a creative way.
All courses are taken from university programmes and are fully accredited. Tonic courses are free and offered at times to suit those in work or education.
